Introducing the 10 week Challenge: get organised for Christmas!

Sometimes, when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed by things, I like to look at Christmas decorations. I have a folder on my desktop, “Christmas”, wherein I stash images which convey the warmth and excitement of Christmas time.

(from the happy home)

Over the next 10 weeks, I’m going to write about small practical steps I’ll take to reach some goals by Christmas. These will be both Christmas and non Christmas related and will involve some specific challenges (such as: write and mail christmas cards, throw out old socks etc.), some ideas to inspire (perhaps some baking and some crafting) and more broad strategies to give structure to the chaos of these intentions. By the end of it, I hope to have a warm and inviting unit, an organised pantry, and a party to share with some friends, among other things.

So start thinking of the things you’d like to get done to get organised for Christmas, 2011! The first challenge starts tomorrow.
